Professor Dr. Jan Jonker holds the chair of ‘Sustainable Entrepreneurship’ the Nijmegen School of Management at the Radboud University Nijmegen (Holland).
Professor Jonker’s research interests are at the crossroads of management, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development, specifically the development of strategies for sustainability and related (new) business models. He is seen more as an academic entrepreneur then a fundamental researcher. As such he is creating a variety of participative research projects in order to have impact.
Between 2014-2016 he held the Chair d’Excellence Pierre de Fermat at the Toulouse Business School (France). Between 2017-2018 he held the Chair Emilie Francqui at the Free University in Brussels, Belgium. He has acted as a visiting professor in the United States, France, Denmark, Australia, Italy, Spain, Norway, Morocco, Germany, Poland, and China.

In Autumn 2018 he was appointed Officer in the Order of the Dutch Crown by HRH King Willem-Alexander for his work on sustainability and circularity.
